Notifications Sorting

What Are Notifications?

Notifications include Workbook tasks you have been assigned or unassigned, Workbook lists you have been assigned or unassigned, and Workbook tasks where you have been mentioned in the comments of a task.

Sort By Project, Due Date, and Date Received

  • Navigate to the home screen of FOLIO.
  • Notifications you have will appear in the "Notifications" widget on the home screen.
  • On the left side just under the work "notifications" you can sort by the project, due date, or date received associated with the notification.
    • Project Sort: this view is sorted alphabetically by Client and then each Project inside the Client. From there, you will see the soonest due task on top.
    • Due Date Sort: this view is sorted by the due date associated with the task where you have been assigned, unassigned or mentioned.
      • Even if the task has been marked complete, the task will still sort by due date assigned.
      • This sort is grouped into the categories Overdue, Due Today, Due This Week, Due Later, No Due Date.
    • Received Date Sort: this view is sorted by the date you were assigned a task or mentioned. The earliest date is on top.
      • This sort is grouped into the categories: Today, This Week, Previous.

💎  Product Tips

  • The default sort is alphabetized by Client and then each Project inside the Client.
  • Tasks are sorted with the soonest due date and overdue tasks on top.
  • Even if a task is marked "complete" and you have not cleared your notification, it will show in this list according to the due date on the task.
  • If there is no due date assigned to a task OR the list with which the task is associated, the task will sort to the bottom.
  • Task LIST due dates trump individual task dates on overdue task coloring in the widget.
    • For example, my 1A task LIST has a due date of last Friday. But my task inside that list is due next week. The task will still outline in red on the home screen because the list the task is associated with is overdue.
  • Tasks with RED dates are overdue.
  • Tasks with YELLOW dates are due today.
  • Tasks with TEAL dates are due in the future.
